What to do with kids in the Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea
Lakes, castles and kid-friendly nature
Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea
With children the amphitheatre is one big open-air park. In summer the beaches of lakes Viverone and Candia are ideal for a day in the water, with pedal boats and canoes for hire; the smaller lakes around Ivrea can be walked around in half an hour. On cooler days you can visit castles and villages, hunt for the erratic boulders left by the glacier, or follow an easy trail across the hills. There's no shortage of playgrounds and parks to burn off energy.
