Cantina della Serra

Located on the south-facing slope of the Serra moraine hill, Cantina della Serra represents a winemaking tradition with roots dating back to 1953. Founded by about a hundred members from Piverone and neighboring towns, it carried out its first wine production in 1954 and continues to produce wines of outstanding quality to this day. With approximately 230 members spread across 18 municipalities in the moraine area and a grape delivery capacity of around 12,000 quintals, the winery has become a point of reference in the Piedmont wine landscape. The vineyards extend across loose moraine terrain, with predominantly south and west exposure, often terraced to limit erosion. It produces a wide range of wines: fresh and fruity whites such as Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, full-bodied red wines like Barbera and Nebbiolo, elegant rosés, prized Caluso DOCG sparkling wines, and delicate dessert wines. The winery offers tastings on-site and an online shop to discover the fragrances and aromas of the Canavese land.
